With Shero gone, the chances of Trotz to Pittsburgh are almost nil know. I would assume out ownership would know Crosby becomes a 30-point scorer under Trotz and Malkin a 25-point scorer.

The knock on Trotz teams not scoring is idiotic. Have they ever really even HAD anyone capable of big time scoring in Nashville? Honestly I'd like to see what he could do with some big time guns on a team.

Last season the knock is on Trotz. It has been noted that he had a lot of say on what players he wanted and he chose a tougher team, so that is on him. And yes Nashville has had scorers in the past, just nobody to compliment those scorers as other teams do. One should really consider ownership on not spending to cap level and keeping the same coach and G.M for sixteen seasons and only getting past the second round of playoffs twice.

I do not think Trotz will be in Pittsburgh.

If Shero had stayed maybe...but assuming he is gone...I don't think bringing Trotz here will happen.

Coud u imagine, Crosby & Malkin playing under the stifling defensive first system of Trotz? That should be ahhhhhh interesting. Maybe it was wise the Leafs didn't get Trotz. Hate to think of Kessel getting frustrated playing under him. Big stars like to be big stars. Their ego takes a brusing if their stats are down.

Better off for the Pens if Mario comes out of retirement. Actually I think 29 other teams would be interested. In fact if I was the Leaf GM, I would trade Bozak & Kadri for the rights to Mario.
